Brad Pitt and His Patek Philippe Nautilus Watch

It is well-known that Brad Pitt is a watch lover. Moreover, he has collected a lot of watches. I have heard that he would buy a new watch frequently. And based on the frequency he buys a watch, he is supposed to have a large amount of watch collection. In my opinion, the number of watches is so large that each of his kids will inherit a sizable timepiece legacy after his death.

Here is Brad wearing his Patek Philippe Nautilus timepiece while doing work with the Make It Right project in New Orleans . This watch debuted in the late 1970s, and came about when luxury steel sport watches really became en vogue. Today's Nautilus watches comes in a few varieties, but Brad likes his in the classic style with a steel case and bracelet, with a blue face, and a three-hand Patek Philippe made automatic movement. Like all Patek Philippe movements, it is beautifully made and decorated-and visible here through a sapphire exhibition caseback window. I like how Brad matched the blue dial with his shirt. The watch is 43mm wide and in all steel except for the while gold hands and hour markers-which are applied.

The Nautilus watch is an interesting piece and it took me a little while to appreciate. What really attracts me to the watch was how it looked on the wrist a few years ago. Put the watch on your wrist, and you will have the feeling that the watch is very man on the wrist. The specific reference number of this watch is 7511/1A, and its retail price is about $23,000.
